Mike's Platform

No community college with public funds
Redo The County's Charter

Referrendums for all new taxes and tax increases
Mandatory term limits for all officials and row officers

Address the problems at the Public Safety Department, and ensure that it succeeds

Mike is the President of Kuhl Hose Fire Department, a firefighter and EMT
Mike has been endorsed by both the City of Erie Firefighters and Police Officers

"Regionalism" is not a goal - unless you don't like where you live, or your school district.

Cooperation between municipalities is happening right now. They don't need the County to mess it up.
Barry Grossman was one of the people pushing the City of Erie and Millcreek Township to merge.

Mike was a guest speaker at the Healthy Youth Development press conference.

Mike spoke at the 9/12 event at BrewErie at Union Station

On June 18, Erie County lost all 911 communications for 23 minutes. Mike's comments are here

Mike spoke at the County Council Hearing on the Community College on May 28th. You can view his comments here.

Mike won the Republican Primary by 18% (58%-40%). Thanks to everyone who voted!

Other Issues Mike Stands For

Develop a 10 and 20 year plan for the County, and fund capital projects accordingly.
Along with the budget, submit a Contingency, or "Plan B" budget, that will be used when the economy is sour.
No 1% County sales tax
No Poet Laureate - seriously - does the County really need a poet?
Traditional Conservative

Does it need to be done - at all?
Does Government really need to do it?
If government needs to do it, then how do we do it in the least expensive way possible?

Reduce the County's footprint, and therefore how much the County costs you.
